DATALYR
For mobile apps running paid campaigns on Meta or TikTok

Run app campaigns that optimize on subscribers, not installs.

Datalyr App Campaigns run your Meta and TikTok ads through your own domain, so every install, trial, and subscription ties back to the ad that drove it. No SKAN postback to wait on. No $1,500 MMP. Native iOS and React Native, Superwall and RevenueCat ready. You're live in 10 minutes.

Datalyr isn't for everyone. Skip it if…

  • You spend under $10K/mo on paid ads. The lift won't pay for the swap.
  • You run zero paid acquisition and grow on App Store search alone.
  • You have no app yet, or no paywall, so there's nothing to attribute.
  • You're fine paying AppsFlyer $1,500 a month for a dashboard that still misses rebills.
The real problem

Apple killed your attribution. The MMPs charge $1,500 to barely fix it.

You spend $30K a month driving installs.

Your media buyer says “the campaigns look fine.”

Your subscription revenue says they don’t.

And you’re stuck in the middle.

Not knowing which ad drove the install.

Not knowing which install turned into a paying subscriber.

Not knowing which campaign you can actually scale.

Here’s what nobody’s telling you.

When the install lands, SKAdNetwork hands Meta one thing. A postback.

No campaign-level revenue. No paywall. No journey.

It shows up 24 to 72 hours late, and the subscription comes days after that.

Meta can’t see what it earned. So it guesses. And it guesses wrong.

On stock SKAN, Meta gets a delayed postback and nothing about the paywall purchase three days later. The trial, the conversion, the rebill. All of it lands as revenue from nowhere. So Meta optimizes on installs instead of subscribers.

What Meta actually sees from a stock SKAN install.

A pixel that can’t see who subscribes keeps buying you people who won’t.

And you keep paying for it. Plus $1,500 to the MMP for the privilege.

The solution

App Campaigns. Attribution that skips SKAN and the MMP.

Datalyr tags the click on your landing page, before the App Store hop.

The mobile SDK reconnects with the same visitor after install.

The trial, the conversion, the rebill reattach to it. Days later, different device, doesn’t matter.

Then every paywall event goes to Meta, Google, and TikTok. Server-side. In real time.

Every subscription phones home to the ad that started it.

Every Superwall and RevenueCat rebill too.

Your pixel finally sees what’s really happening.

And a pixel that can see is a pixel that stops wasting your money.

Here's exactly how it works

Live in 10 minutes. Here's the whole setup.

01

Drop in the mobile SDK

One line in App.tsx for React Native or AppDelegate for Swift. pod install or npm install, pick your poison. iOS, React Native, and Expo all supported.
02

Wire Superwall or RevenueCat

One call passes Datalyr attributes into your paywall provider. Now every trial, conversion, and rebill lands stamped with the ad click.
03

Add the web SDK to your landing page

One script tag on your marketing site. It captures fbclid, gclid, and ttclid before the user ever hits the App Store.
04

Launch your App Campaign

Point your Meta and TikTok campaigns at your domain on the Sales objective. Datalyr attributes the installs and the subscriptions they become. No SKAN cap, no MMP, no per-campaign adset limit.

What doesn't work

You've tried to fix this. It didn't work. Here's why.

  • More creatives

Great ads can't save you if SKAN can't tell Meta which ones drove subscribers. Creative doesn't fix a blind postback.

  • An MMP like AppsFlyer or Adjust

It charges $1,500 a month, reads the same delayed postback, and still doesn't connect a web ad click to a paywall purchase three days later. And it never attributes the rebill.

  • App Install campaigns

They live inside SKAN's per-campaign adset cap and a 24-to-72 hour delay. Meta optimizes on installs, not the subscribers those installs become.

  • Manually tagging deep links

ATT and IDFA changes break it the first time a user declines the prompt. You're back to guessing, just with more spreadsheets.

Before. Same app, same problems, same ceiling. Your buyer scales the cheapest-install campaign, because cheap installs are the only signal SKAN hands him. You pour $30K into it. ROAS sits at 0.8x and nobody can say which ad earned the subscription.

After. Same app, different outcome. Datalyr shows Meta which subscriptions came from which web ad, rebills included. Meta stops chasing cheap installs and starts chasing subscribers. ROAS climbs to 2.4x. Cost per paid subscription drops from $58 to $24. Same spend, same creative.

A mobile app at $30K/mo on Meta, stuck on SKAN postbacks and an AppsFlyer contract.

They switched to the Identity Bridge, moved campaigns to web objectives, wired Superwall through the SDK.

Three weeks later, Meta knew which ads drove rebills. And it started bidding for them.

What you're probably thinking

“How is this different from AppsFlyer or Adjust?”

Same web→app stitching, a fraction of the cost. We don’t charge per-install. And we do the thing the MMPs don’t. Attribute the rebill back to the original ad.

“Does this work with App Install campaigns or just web ones?”

Both. App Install campaigns get SKAN attribution plus our paywall webhook. Web campaigns get the full Identity Bridge. That’s where the real lift is.

“Do I need Superwall or RevenueCat?”

Both are supported with one line of code. If you use manual StoreKit or a custom paywall, you wire the SDK directly. We have a guide.

“What about ATT and IDFA?”

The Identity Bridge doesn’t depend on IDFA. We use visitor ID and a deferred deep link to stitch web→app, no matter how the ATT prompt goes.

Your move

Two choices from here.

Path 1

Stay on SKAN.

Close this tab. Keep running App Install ads the same way.

Keep letting Meta optimize on a delayed postback and a guess.

Keep paying $1,500 to an MMP that still misses every rebill.

Every dollar you spend without knowing which ad drove the subscription is a dollar lit on fire.

Path 2

Install Datalyr.

10 minutes. One SDK, one paywall call, one script tag.

Web→app attribution live this week. Rebills included.

Then you watch subscription after subscription land with the ad attached.

Cost per subscription drops. ROAS climbs. And you cut the MMP bill.

Stop paying $1,500 to barely see.

Drop in the SDK, wire your paywall, add the web tag. Your first attributed subscription lands within the week.

P.S. You won’t change a thing about your app or your paywall. You just stop flying blind, and you stop overpaying the MMP. If your cost per subscription hasn’t moved by day 7, walk away. No contract, nothing to undo.
